Global steel production saw a 10.6% decrease in October 2021 compared to October 2020.  Steel production in North America was up 16.9% versus October 2020, but Asia Oceania pulled down the index with a 16.6% drop in production compared with October 2020.  And the bulk of the Asia Oceania change can from China whose production fell 23.3% when compared October 2021 to October 2020.
